Service One Automotive is an independent mechanical workshop at Factory 9, 266 Osborne Avenue, Clayton South VIC 3169. There has been a workshop at this address serving Clayton motorists for over 20 years, run for most of that time by Theo, and it is now under new management. Ring 0434 949 091. What we took on
There has been a workshop at 266 Osborne Avenue for more than twenty years, run for most of that time by Theo. The address has the history.
We are the new management. We took it on because the place already had something worth keeping, which was a list of customers who came back and sent their families. That is not something you can buy, only inherit and then either look after or waste.
What we are not going to do
We are not going to tell you the car needs something it does not need. That is the whole trick to this trade, and most people have a story about a workshop that did it to them.
So the policy is simple. Measurements rather than opinions where a measurement exists. A phone call before any spend that was not already agreed. And a straight answer when the honest answer is that the car is fine, or that the repair is worth more than the car.
The one stop part
The tagline is The One Stop Mechanical Centre, and it is meant literally. Servicing through to engines, clutches, transmissions and exhausts under one roof.
It matters more than it sounds. A car that gets shuffled between specialists loses something at every handover, and the person who ends up holding the whole story is usually you.
