Every service, one workshop
What comes through the door
Pick the one that sounds like your car. Each page says what the job actually involves.
Servicing and checks
- 01Car servicingThe regular service that keeps the expensive problems from arriving early.
- 02Logbook servicingYour manufacturer's schedule, followed properly, with the book stamped.
- 10Roadworthy certificatesNeed a roadworthy? We'll organise it and look after it from start to finish.
- 04Car diagnosticsA fault code tells you where to start looking. It is not the answer.
Brakes, tyres and steering
- 03Brake repairsMeasured, not guessed. You get the numbers before you get the quote.
- 12Disc and drum machiningCutting a worn surface true again, when there is enough metal to do it.
- 14TyresTyres fitted, and a look at why the old ones wore the way they did.
- 11Wheel alignmentA small job that stops you buying tyres more often than you should.
- 05Suspension repairsWorn suspension does not announce itself. It just quietly ruins your tyres.
Engine and drivetrain
- 07Engine repairsFrom a timing belt that is due to a noise you would rather not hear.
- 13EFI diagnosis and tuningFor the car that starts and drives, but never quite feels right.
- 06Clutch repairsSlipping, dragging or just heavy. Each one points somewhere different.
- 08Transmission repairsHarsh shifts and slipping are worth catching early. Fluid tells the story.
- 09Exhaust repairsIf it has gone loud, something has gone open. That matters more than the noise.
How a job runs here
Four steps, and you are told the price before any of it is spent.
- 01
Tell us what it is doing
Ring, or send a booking request. Describe the noise, the light, the feel. Working out the cause is our job, not yours.
- 02
We look, and we measure
Pads get a caliper on them. Fault codes get tested rather than just read. What we find comes with numbers attached.
- 03
You hear the price before we spend it
Nothing past the agreed work happens without a phone call first. That is the whole policy.
- 04
Pick it up, and know what we found
What we fixed, what needs doing soon, and what is fine for now. In plain words, not a parts list.
The address
Twenty years on Osborne Avenue
There has been a workshop at 266 Osborne Avenue for more than twenty years, run for most of that time by Theo. The address has the history. We are the new management, and we took it on because the place already had something worth keeping.
More about the workshop

Questions people ring about
Are you open on a Saturday or a Sunday?
Yes. Saturdays and Sundays are normal working days here, 9am to 3pm, a little shorter than weekdays.
Do I need to book?
Ring first. The workshop runs on booked jobs, so a car that turns up unannounced waits behind the ones that were expected.
Will you quote before doing the work?
Yes. Nothing beyond the work you agreed to happens without a phone call first.
Will servicing here void my new car warranty?
No. Under Australian Consumer Law a manufacturer cannot void your warranty because an independent workshop did the servicing, provided the schedule is followed and the parts are of appropriate quality. There is a full explanation on our warranty page.
Do you stamp logbooks?
Yes, stamped and dated, with the work itemised on the invoice. Keep both together.
